Rev. Oneal Young, Jr., M.Div., is the organizing Pastor of Greater Purpose Church in Fairfield, California, with over three decades of pastoral ministry, education, and intercessory prayer leadership. A recipient of the Kneeland Preaching Award and the NAACP President’s Medal of Freedom, he is completing the Doctor of Ministry degree at United Theological Seminary. Rev. Young has served as President of the North Bay Ministers Union, Director of Prayer: Sacramento Ministers Alliance, Sacramento, CA, and Chaplain for the Fairfield Police Department. His ministry has emphasized prayer, discipleship, and community transformation, including the forthcoming release of his book, The Prayer Memoirs of a Preacher (2026).
