Has Your Church Been
Praying Boldly for Breakthroughs?
After a season of looking up and out—praying together for God’s new possibilities and divine direction—what comes next? When your congregation, ministry or team has been listening deeply, it’s time to gather and reflect on what the Spirit may be saying.
Enter the DreamTables approach.
A DreamTable is a spiritually guided, congregation-wide discernment experience. It’s where your people come together to notice, share, and name the stirrings and invitations forward from the Holy Spirit—those glimpses of what might be next for your ministry. It’s a sacred space to sift the collective sense of call, and begin shaping next steps in faithful response to your breakthrough prayers.
Is your community ready to move from listening to naming? The DreamTable is waiting.
DreamTables emerged as a framework from the deep spiritual learnings of several hundred congregations—diverse in size, setting, ethnicity, and theology—who engaged in prayer-saturated, Spirit-led revitalization efforts. From these experiences, four essential elements have been identified. When these are added to a foundation of ongoing breakthrough prayer, they help shift a church or ministry from an organizational mindset of simply managing operations to a Spirit-led culture of movement—spiritually discerning and following God’s new possibilities together.
Joining a DreamTables cohort involves four live online, interactive training sessions.
How It Works:
Each session is attended by the pastor or supervisor alongside three or more leaders, gathered around the same screen via Zoom. Together, you’ll learn, reflect, and prepare to act in your own setting.
Sessions 1–3: Equip your team with how to deepen your congregation’s or ministry’s prayer for spiritual capacity to discern God’s guidance.
Session 4: Gain a complete framework to host your own DreamTable gathering—a Spirit-guided event where your people can name what they’ve been sensing from God about the next faithful step(s) forward.
Bonus: Personalized Coaching
Every church or team that participates in a DreamTables cohort receives a one-on-one coaching session to help you faithfully and strategically move forward with what was discerned during your DreamTable gathering.
A Reusable, Spirit-Led Strategy
The DreamTables approach is repeatable and adaptable—ideal for your leadership council, ministry staff, nonprofit board, or denominational department. Built on your foundation of collective breakthrough prayer already underway, the four core elements you’ll learn can be used again and again to nurture a culture of ongoing spiritual discernment and Spirit-led action.
Prerequisites for Registering for a DreamTables Cohort
To ensure this training is spiritually fruitful and practically effective for you, your church or ministry or team must meet the following criteria:
1. Breakthrough Prayer Is Already Underway
Your church, ministry, or team has begun—and continues—a daily practice of breakthrough prayer as a spiritual foundation for discerning God’s guidance.
2. A Committed Team
Your pastor or supervisor and at least three or more leaders attend all four live training sessions together, gathered around one screen, to be ready to apply what they learn across your setting.
3. A Holy Restlessness for More
You carry an irresistible longing to see your church or ministry move beyond “business as usual”—from a mindset of simply managing programs to embracing the momentum of a Spirit-led movement, just as the Church was intended to be from the book of Acts to today.
Note:
If your church or ministry hasn’t yet launched a congregation-wide breakthrough prayer practice, don’t worry—there are trusted resources to help you get started:
• Open Road: The Adventure of a Breakthrough Prayer Initiative – A step-by-step guide to launch and lead your church into breakthrough prayer.
• Dynamite Prayer: A 28-Day Experiment – A powerful daily resource to help your team or congregation begin praying breakthrough prayers together.
These tools will you help initiate the “prayers asking God for next possibilities” foundation needed in your setting before participating in a DreamTables cohort.
