YES to Abundance
Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to him who is able to do
immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to his power that is at work within us,
to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout
all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
O Lord our God, your word says
you are able to bless us abundantly,
so that in all things at all times, having all that we need, we will abound in every good work.
We cannot thank you enough for the abundant life
and for your miraculous abundance.
We call on your power to work in us today.
Show your power in us now
through your spiritual strength, the indwelling Jesus, exponential knowledge of your love,
and in your fullness that belongs to us as your children.
God, enable us to receive your great YES abundance through prayer.
We also ask that your abundance
be extended to the lives of others, including
our loved ones, fellow students, administration, faculty,
friends, family, co-workers, and future generations.
As you continue to work in us
through the super-power of Your Holy Spirit
who dwells within us,
manifest your abundance in our lives
in every stage and in every ministry effort,
as you ensure that your glory will overflow in our lives beyond measure.
God of abundance, do more than we can imagine!
Let your power work in us
for your glory in this generation.
We honor you for going far beyond measure,
exceeding anything that we could ask, or call for,
or crave, or desire, or think we require.
We praise you for answering us in Ephesians
through your servant Paul, who wrote
that it can only happen because you, God,
are able to do far beyond what we can ask or think.
God, our only fitting response to your greatness
is to give you glory, especially in the church,
in the company of your redeemed children.
Blessings and honor, O God, dominion forever
for your exceeding greatness
and never-ending abundance in all things
now and forever.
To you be glory in the church
through Jesus Christ to all generations,
forever and ever.
