YES to Renewed Strength
Isaiah 40:31
…but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Everlasting God,
Creator of the ends of the earth,
we give you glory because you never faint.
You never grow weary. You never get tired.
You never slumber, and you never sleep.
We thank you, God, for Isaiah 40:31 that promises
those who wait on you shall renew their strength.
We are in you because
you are the God who restores what life drains,
revives what stress depletes and strengthens,
and what weakness attempts to break.
We need you to renew our strength
during this turbulent season.
We say yes to renewed strength.
And we thank you for it.
We ask that you renew our mental strength for study,
our spiritual strength for prayer,
our physical strength for endurance,
and our emotional strength for difficult times.
God, we're asking that you give us your strength.
Strengthen those who are exhausted.
Give power to the faint hearted.
Bring clarity to those who are overwhelmed,
and give courage to those who are weary.
In the name of Jesus, renew the body of Christ.
Renew pastors and clergy. Renew Christian minds.
Renew Kingdom leadership
and renew our desire for your word.
And God, we ask you to renew our hope in Jesus Christ
as He is our hope of glory.
Lord, help us to mount up on wings like eagles
and rise above every storm.
We want to run through this new year,
and we want to run through ministry without quitting.
Help us to walk daily without fainting.
Let supernatural strength fill our bodies
with your strength that only you can give.
We've seen you do it before
in the Garden of Gethsemane with Jesus Christ.
You can do it again. We pray now:
strengthen our minds, our spirit, and our ministries.
We say yes to your renewing power
in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
