YES to Throne Room Access

Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace
with confidence,
so that we may receive mercy
and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Gracious Father,
the One who sits on the throne of grace,
we thank you for the invitation
to come boldly before you.
We come not as strangers, not as outsiders,
but as redeemed sons and daughters
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your word declares that we can approach you.
We can approach your throne to obtain mercy
and find grace to help us in the times of need.

God, we need you.
So today we enter your presence with gratitude
because access to you is our greatest privilege.
Thank you for Jesus, who spoke the words:
“Believe me, a time is coming when you will worship
the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
Yet the time is coming and has now come
when true worshipers will worship the Father
in Spirit and in truth.”

Thank you, Lord, that we are here in your presence
for access to your throne so we can worship you.
Thank you that your throne is where revelation flows.
And we're asking for revelations.

Thank you, God, for letting fear fade.
Thank you, God, that healing is happening right now,
that our strength is being renewed,
and that our hope is rising again because of you.

Today we say yes to your presence,
yes to your mercy, yes to your help.
Holy Spirit, teach us to live
in constant communion with you,
and to live in the moment.
Draw us closer and into a deeper intimacy with you.
Remove every barrier of guilt and shame
and fear and doubt
that the devil tries to place upon us.

Let us cast our cares on you, because you care for us.
Let us come boldly, confidently, reverently,
and with great expectations of faith
that you'll do just what you’ve said.
So we say yes, and thank you
for access to your throne room today.
